About Me
As a middle schooler participating in a mock United Nations conference, I found a passion for helping tell other people's stories — elevating their voices and making individuals and communities feel heard. I settled on wanting to be a journalist at age 12, and here we are years later.
I am a graduate of the University of Montevallo with a degree in mass communication, concentrating in multimedia journalism, and minors in both social media administration and psychology.
My minors have allowed me to expand beyond simply telling stories, providing me with tools to truly understand the people I interview, or represent. My goal is to portray and share the depth of people's truths and the heart of brands.
Whether that story be told through print or digital articles, photos or even across social media content, I believe everyone deserves to have their voice heard and have access to the truth. My ultimate goal is to accomplish that and work with organizations that believe the same.
I am working as a part-time digital content producer at WBRC in Birmingham, Alabama. I am open to freelance work in social media and other related fields.
